  1. Sharp and Useless

    You’d think that the “nervous Nelly” clients would be the new ones, the ones who have never been involved in a lawsuit before. And although clients who are new to litigation are certainly skittish, they can usually be talked down from their trees.

    The crazy ones — the ones who don’t listen, give conflicting instructions, take things personally, and let their hot tempers get the better of them — are more often experienced business people. It’s not that they DON’T know what litigation is. They know, they don’t like it, and they express their displeasure volubly.
